CURRENT STATUS UPDATE
New World Order = (pronunciation: ‘noo wurld awr-der’) a profound change in the organization of social systems or global political power, such as the improved cooperation between formerly hostile countries after the end of the Cold War.
The people that control everything won’t tell you that things are changing and the old way of life is on the way out the door. Why not? If they tell you, then you too would have a chance to have an upper hand over the masses. Imagine if you have insider information about major things in the market before everyone else simply because you are the market and create the circumstances in which people move about.. That is simply what is going on here.
Some countries are gaining political power. Some are losing theirs. Wealth is exchanging hands. Companies are being dissolved. People are being laid off. New empires are being born. While this has been true since humans have walked this earth, this one feels a little bit different. At least it is unlike anything our ancestors have seen. We are at the opening of a new door. As technology gets better and better, the Global South isn’t so far behind anymore. In some areas, they are ahead of the pack. Opportunities for the everyday person are shifting away from proximity and going strictly off of skill. The pandemic opened the floodgates to remote work, and even though companies are pushing for people to be back in office, some of the most lucrative positions will stay remote. Why is that? Companies (especially here in the US) learned 2 things during the pandemic with remote work: 1) Their current employees for the most part are not as productive as they can be, and 2) it is cheaper to hire employees overseas who can do the same job, especially for roles that would have normally been remote in the first place. Where does this leave you? Think about it. You are no longer just competing with people in your city, state, and country anymore. You could be competing with the best of the best WORLDWIDE for the lucrative positions you want, whether it be here in the states or overseas. And this is not a “in the future” kind of situation. This is happening now, and has been happening since before the pandemic. In addition to this, the United States Dollar (USD) is losing its value. More and more countries are shying away from trading in it.
The Chinese era is here. What China has accomplished in the last 75 years will be talked about for centuries to come.
Manufacturing and Export Powerhouse: China is the world's largest manufacturing hub, often referred to as "the world's factory." Its extensive manufacturing capabilities, especially in electronics, machinery, textiles, and consumer goods, have fueled its dominance in global exports. They did this by setting themselves up as the “go to” place for manufacturing. They constantly took orders and did them for cheaper than any other country could. This allowed them to set up manufacturing hubs and techniques that have been developed and tweaked over decades. As of 2023, China remained the largest exporter in the world, with its goods being integral to supply chains globally. MADE IN CHINA is a household phrase worldwide and the world would stop if they closed their borders.
Technological Advancements: China has made massive investments in high-tech industries such as hydro engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, robotics, and electric vehicles (EVs). Tech companies like Huawei, Tencent, and BYD are leading in areas like telecommunications, software, and green energy technologies, propelling China into a leadership position in the global tech race. China is also home to many colleges and universities that are globally ranked at the top when it comes to engineering, chemistry, artificial intelligence, and many more STEM related areas of study. They hold 7 out of the top 10 globally ranked research institutions in the world. 8 out of 10 of the best schools for water resources (hydro engineering… think dams etc) in the world are located in China. The 10 best schools for engineering in the world are located in China with #11 being MIT (Massachusetts, USA). They are COOKING.
Belt and Road Initiative (BRI): China’s ambitious BRI, launched in 2013, has expanded its economic influence across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Through infrastructure investments, China is fostering strong trade and diplomatic ties with numerous countries, effectively integrating them into its economic orbit. The initiative enhances trade routes and facilitates the flow of goods, services, and capital to and from China.
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI): China attracts significant FDI by providing access to its vast consumer market and offering investment opportunities in a variety of sectors. Global companies have established operations in China, drawn by its large population and growing middle class, which is increasingly demanding more consumer goods and services. They also have the workforce numbers to staff these numerous companies, whether it be in manufacturing all the way up to the corporate level. China’s large population is a net positive for companies looking to expand in need of workers and consumers alike.
State-Driven Economic Strategy: The Chinese government’s centralized economic planning, including its focus on strategic industries and heavy subsidies for high-tech sectors, allows it to rapidly mobilize resources to achieve long-term growth goals. Unlike more market-driven economies, China’s state-guided approach facilitates large-scale development in areas like infrastructure, renewable energy, and innovation.
Global Trade Relationships: China is a major trading partner for numerous countries, notably the U.S., the European Union, and many developing nations. By positioning itself as a key source of both low-cost goods and high-demand tech products, it has become an indispensable player in international trade. Countries would have a hard time coping without the Chinese economy.
HOW AMERICA STACKS UP
The import-to-export ratio in the United States is generally imbalanced, with imports consistently exceeding exports. As of 2023, the U.S. had an annual trade deficit of approximately $945 billion. In 2023, the U.S. imported goods worth about $3.2 trillion, primarily consisting of electronics, machinery, vehicles, and crude oil. In that very same year, U.S. exports totaled approximately $2.25 trillion, largely made up of capital goods, industrial supplies, and agricultural products. America relies heavily on exports. Manufacturing is not our strength and it would cost an enormous amount of money to bring manufacturing back home.
The average reading level of U.S. high school graduates is often cited as being between the 7th and 8th grade level. Studies show that many high school graduates here in the United States struggle with advanced reading comprehension, even though they may have technically completed 12 years of public schooling. Kids here are underperforming and it is really starting to show.
Although this is one of the richest countries in the world, it is one of the most expensive places to live. According to Zumper and RentCafe, as of October 2024, the national median rent in the United States is around $2,095 per month. The rental market has remained pretty stable, with some fluctuations in different cities and regions. For example, New York City has some of the highest rents in the country, with the average one-bedroom apartment costing around $4,500. In contrast, more affordable states like Oklahoma and North Dakota have average rents of $1,019 and $1,057. The closer you are to popping metropolitans, the higher your rent is. With the interest rates where they are today (around 6%, Oct. 2024) + the median home price here being around $420,000 (Oct. 2024), mortgages are breaking the bank as well. In 1992, the median price of a home in the United States was approximately $121,500. Salaries haven’t budged but housing has. You see where I’m going?
While we do have talent here, it’s just not en masse like we would prefer. We need more brainiacs (whether we grow them here or fly them in) and we need them NOW.
THE FACTS: CURRENT STATE OF THE ECONOMY
US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics – News release dated Friday October 4th, 2024 - [THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION] –I think everyone is in agreement on the job market globally; IT IS SCARCE NO MATTER WHAT THE NUMBERS SAY. You need specialized skills now more than ever before. Quitting your job today could mean unemployment for months (maybe a whole year!) if you don’t have the right tools in your toolbelt to produce results. Skilling up is a requirement, not an option. Now isn’t the time for bullshit degrees (never was). This is the era of the multifaceted employee. Having just a degree isn’t enough. Neither is just one trade or skills. Workers MUST skill up and add multiple tools to their tool belts.
Real average hourly earnings for all employees increased 0.2 percent from August to September
Consumer price index: a measure of the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers for a market basket of consumer goods and services. CPI rose 0.2% in September. (dated October 10, 2024
Everyone is obsessed with artificial intelligence (AI) for obvious reasons. It is booming and every single day that goes by, more and more people are waking up to how it can help them be more productive. AI has its pros and cons. Pros being advancements in technology. The cons being the amount of people that will lose their jobs due to the advancements in technology. A lot of jobs don’t need to be done by hand anymore. It has already changed the landscape of life itself. From recruiters reporting on resumes that are written by AI to college professors and high school teachers also discovering the same thing with their students and the work they’re turning in. Small business owners (me included) have been singing its praises from the start. It allows us to set up automations among other things allowing us to run our businesses with ease. The future is here. Adapt or get left behind. The market is now very competitive.
“What does this mean for me?”
Competition is stiff. And it’s only stiffer when you think about what you are up against outside. Housing will continue to be expensive, especially here in the United States. Whatever number you have in your head to buy a home for yourself, add $50,000-$100,000 on top of that if you want to live within an hour of a booming city (financially, economically, and available entertainment). This applies to jobs as well. Immigration will not stop anytime soon. Talent is being farmed and sourced worldwide. Everyone knows the usual characters to aim for when going to school; STEM majors, law school, med school, anything up and around that alley. That is still true today. The only things I would add are the many professions people don’t know about; Example: home appraiser, home inspector, property adjuster,
Things are changing economically, financially, and politically. 10 years ago, crypto was known as the criminal’s currency, today we have legal trading of $BTC by hedge funds and other financial institutions. There are bitcoin ETFs, people buy everything with $btc and they even loan it out to other people while charging interest. The State of the Union address in 2024 is A LOT different than it was 10 or 20 years ago. PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING, IT IS ALL CONNECTED. Think of it kind of like how it is a recession but they never want to admit it until the recession is over.
Society is a lot more heartless these days. Community building is more important than ever. YOU WILL NOT GO FAR ALONE. You will get somewhere, just not far. The world isn’t built for lone wolves. Ironically, being a lone wolf is how you will develop the skills to survive out here, but every lone wolf that has done the work knows the importance of making their way back to the pack when ready.
HOW TO STAY AHEAD OF THE CURVE
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you keep your mind sharp and open to seeing new things. A sharp mind is the #1 thing to focus on FIRST. Keep your mind open to new ideas.. a closed mind misses opportunities. Don’t anchor yourself until 1000% sure. “Don’t keep your eggs all in one basket” or whatever they say. What is ok today may be detrimental to growth tomorrow. Always be open to learning. When you learn, you grow.
The #2 most important thing to focus on after your mind is your body; your fitness. Preparing yourself to not only survive, BUT THRIVE. No matter what, stay active, stay fit. A healthy body can focus. When your brain isn’t focused on your unhealthy eating habits, it can focus on the task at hand. We all know children need a healthy meal and a good night’s rest to get through the day effectively, this applies to you too! Develop a schedule and stick to it. Eat food to FEEDS you not just food that FILLS you. More fruit, veggies, and protein… less white salt and white sugar (you know, the unnatural stuff). Food quality alone should be pushing you closer to self sustainability. If not already, once you start working out and drinking more water, you can’t help but pay attention to it more. My plans for a compound/farm of my own to do just that.
Figure out what YOU are going to do and get to it! Find a pandemic + recession proof career path, make a plan, and LOCK IN. This can get a bit tricky…and I will definitely jump into it in a later email but I’ll outline it here: 1) Research careers that stayed employed during the recession. Ask yourself “who didn’t get laid off when everyone lost their jobs in 2008?”… then repeat this same question and thinking process for the pandemic.. “who kept getting money during the pandemic?”.. (like March 2020-March 2022). Find out who is on both of these lists.. For example: I know a registered nurse and a master plumber that survived both the recession and the pandemic. Both are considered ESSENTIAL WORKERS and would be needed in any economic climate, even natural disasters. Position yourself to always be needed, even when the world seems to be collapsing around you like it is now. Another example of this would be engineers. A structural engineer is always needed. Especially after a hurricane has wiped out most of the highways and bridges in an area up in the mountains, and those very same highways and bridges need to be rebuilt ASAP. Add in the homes and businesses… and the work is endless. Think INFRASTRUCTURE. What does this city/county/state/country/region need to keep ticking? Start a career down those roads. A society cannot function properly without scientists, engineers, healthcare workers, electricians/line workers, welders, plumbers, etc… Someone needs to build the bridges and run the dams and provide the grocery stores with supplies, ALWAYS.
Energy is constantly around you and something you cannot ignore, LIKE THIS NEW WORLD ORDER. You can sense the sky is falling, you just can’t see it yet. Never ignore your gut instincts. Also.. what you put out is what you will receive. The energy you throw out into the universe will come back to you at some point. Show what you want. That is how manifestation works. Claim it. Plan it. Do it. Over. And over. And over. Until it sticks. Giving up now will only lessen the progress you made previously.
TAKE THIS WITH YOU
Life is always going to try and smack you, ALWAYS. It’s like a punching bag, no matter how hard you hit it.. It will always come swinging back in your face. So fight back. Don’t just sit and complain about the facts, DO SOMETHING. Arm yourself with knowledge. Take that complaining energy and transmute it into something that you can actually use. The world will forever (maybe lol) keep on spinning, with or without you. Make a difference while you're still here.
Amazing read! Lets level up!!!
