Just like compound interest, small efforts may seem insignificant in the beginning, but over time, they generate powerful results. Whether it’s saving a few dollars a day, walking an extra ten minutes, or learning one new concept, these choices compound. And just like money grows in a high-yield account, your life expands when you invest in it, bit by bit.
Take saving money as an example. Putting aside just $5 a day may seem like pocket change, but over a year that’s $1,825, without even accounting for growth or investment returns. AUTOMATED SAVINGS - even if it’s just $5, something is better than nothing. Build this habit by starting small and working your way up from there. $10 a week can turn into $100 before you know it. Start small, grow big.
MOVE YOUR BODY FOR 15MINS DAILY - even if it's just jumping jacks or running in place. Get your heart pumping. It costs you nothing to do jumping jacks, pushups, squats, ANYTHING to get your body moving and your blood pumping. Just your time.
READ OR LEARN ONE NEW THING - this doesn’t have to take more than 20 mins of your day. Remember; something is better than nothing. If you didn’t read any books last year, reading for 20 mins a day will have you finishing books by the end of year. Not up for reading? Watch a youtube video teaching you about something you don’t know about. Perfect example: “how do engines work?”... TRAIN YOUR BRAIN TO ALWAYS BE LOOKING TO LEARN SOMETHING
BE MINDFUL OF WHAT YOU INTAKE - “Where your attention goes, your energy flows” this simply means “you are what you eat”. If you pay attention to drama everyday (toxic reality tv), you are inviting drama into your life (a repeat of the scenarios you intake daily).
RELEASE WHAT IS STRESSING YOU - A lot of us hold onto things that are not good for us in the long term and we all low key know it. RELEASE IT. Stop worrying about things you cannot control and place your energy and attention on the things that you can control. You should never stress about things out of your control (and even some things you can control). Stress kills. Kill it yourself first.
