Here at FSO, everything is about making your life better. EVERYTHING. You should be LIFEMAXXING (living life to the fullest and scraping the bottom of the pot for every last drop!)… this means leaving nothing on the table. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It is how you get more out life on a daily basis.

You should always be looking to save money. Get more bang for your buck. Max out your potential. You should always be going for one or two more reps at the gym. Swim or run one more lap. Stay in the sauna an extra minute or two past when you really want to get out. Always push that limit. Push yourself to fatigue. THAT IS LIFEMAXXING. Live your life to the max. Have fun. Schedule things back to back to back. Don’t have such an open schedule all of the time. Do something exciting. Book a trip one right after the other. Free time isn’t so free when it is being wasted. Find something to do. Maximize your time.

When I work out, I always give extra reps. I always workout until fatigue. When I run on the treadmill, my goal is 12-15 minute miles but I always push myself for faster miles and I always push myself to run at least 1.3 or 1.5 miles instead of just one. 20 pushups on the board? I’m going to do 23/24 or try and push myself to 28 every single set. If I want to read for 30 mins before bed, I try to finish out the chapter or go for 35 mins, whatever comes first. I always give extra to do a little bit more than required. This is what I consider LIFEMAXXING. Don’t feel like going out and being social, go anyway. Don’t feel like applying to new jobs because you’re content where you’re at? Apply anyway, you might get a raise and new perks you didn’t know existed.

If you always read the same genre of books, pick a new title in a new genre you haven’t touched before. Always go to the same bar after work? Try a new one.  And order a drink you haven’t ordered before. Life is made up of a billion different paths you can take in life and most people wake up daily and take the same steps every single day… never curious about the other decisions they could make.. other people they’ve never met… opportunities they haven’t pondered over. This isn’t the life you want to live. You want to lay in bed at night knowing you exhausted your options. Go do that.

Lost? Here are some starting points. Remember my last post, Always Be Doing Something? Apply that to the rest of your life. There is always work to be done in your life.

Getting more out of life every day comes down to being intentional with your time, mindset, and actions. Here are some ways to make each day more fulfilling:

1. Start Strong with a Morning Routine (not that one lol..)

  • Wake up early and avoid rushing.

  • Move your body—stretch, exercise, or take a walk.

  • Set an intention or goal for the day. Even if it’s just one small thing, aim to complete something every single day. This builds confidence.

  • Have a set way you get/make your coffee/tea etc

  • Be intentional about your routine and make sure it aligns with where you want to be in life. If you want to be a morning person, you have to train yourself to get up and have energy at that time. It can be done.

2. Engage in Meaningful Work

  • Prioritize tasks that align with your long-term goals.

  • Learn something new every day. Keep a book on you. Do crossword puzzles, sudokus, and other brain games. The App Store and Google Play store have hundreds of them.

  • Focus on solutions, not just problems. Start by training yourself to see problems as crossword puzzles you can solve. Everything doesn’t have to be a pain in the ass. You can have fun and learn something in the process.

  • Take breaks to avoid burnout.

3. Strengthen Relationships

  • Call or text a friend or family member. Spend time with the ones you love.

  • Express appreciation for those around you.

  • Make time for face-to-face interactions. As the world slips more and more behind screens, being present in face to face interactions means a lot more today than people realize. People value those that SHOW UP in real life more than those that just interact online.

  • Your community is everything. Humans are meant to connect. The more you connect and interact with others, the more you learn about human beings and human nature, and yourself as well.

4. Take Care of Your Health

  • Eat nourishing foods and stay hydrated. Water should be your best friend. Get enough sleep—quality rest fuels productivity. You can’t think or do anything productively on little to no rest. Well you can, but you won’t be giving it your best.

  • Move your body throughout the day. Stay active by doing something everything whether it be a full scale workout or just taking a morning or evening walk. DO SOMETHING. A 40 min walk around your neighborhood isn’t going to kill your whole day. It is actually going to add years onto your life overtime.

  • Manage stress through mindfulness or deep breathing. Get into meditation. Find something that relaxes you and find different ways to incorporate that into your daily life. This can be something as simple as taking a walk around a lake or sitting in a completely dark room listening to rainforest sounds on youtube.

5. Pursue Personal Growth

  • Read more, listen to more productive podcasts, take online courses.. The list goes on. Enrich yourself! Do things you normally don’t do. Find free classes and go to them. Participate in volunteer opportunities in your community.

  • Step outside your comfort zone—try something new.

  • Reflect on your progress and adjust as needed. You can always pivot. Waiting too long to get off the wrong train means you have further of a distance to backtrack to get in the right direction.

  • Challenge limiting beliefs and cultivate confidence. Face your fears. Do things that scare you even if your heart is racing. It builds character.

6. Add More Fun & Creativity

  • Engage in hobbies or creative outlets.

  • Laugh often—watch a funny show or joke with friends.

  • Travel or explore new places, even in your city.

  • Listen to music or play an instrument.

7. End the Day with Reflection & Relaxation

  • Review what went well and what you learned.

  • Unplug from screens before bed.

  • Practice gratitude—write down three good things.

  • Set yourself up for success tomorrow.

The key is balance—productivity, connection, self-care, and fun.
